This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for paid Subscriptions to the Model Car Collector service ("Service") purchased through our website. It forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service. By purchasing a Subscription You agree to this Refund Policy.
Merchant of Record
Web Subscriptions are sold and processed by Paddle.com, which acts as the Merchant of Record for those purchases. Paddle handles payment processing, billing, tax and refunds on our behalf, and Paddle (or "Paddle.net") may appear as the seller on Your bank or card statement. Refund requests are honoured in line with this policy and Paddle's buyer terms, and may be made either to Us or directly to Paddle.
14-Day Money-Back Guarantee
We want You to be happy with the Service. If You are not satisfied with Your initial Subscription purchase, You may request a full refund within 14 days of the date of that purchase. Approved refunds are returned to Your original payment method.
This guarantee applies to first-time purchases of a plan. It does not apply to subsequent renewal charges (see below), except where a refund is required by applicable law.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email us at support@modelcollectorapp.com with the email address used for the purchase and, where possible, the Paddle order or receipt ID from Your confirmation email. We aim to review and respond to refund requests promptly. Once a refund is approved, it is processed by Paddle and may take several business days to appear on Your statement, depending on Your bank or card issuer.
Cancellations and Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand. You can cancel at any time from Your Account settings or via the link in Your purchase confirmation. When You cancel:

You will not be charged again for future billing periods.

Your access to paid features continues until the end of the period You have already paid for.

We do not provide partial or pro-rated refunds for the unused portion of a billing period once the 14-day window has passed.
Renewal Charges
Renewal charges are generally non-refundable. Because You can cancel at any time before a renewal to avoid being charged, refunds are not provided for renewals that occur because a Subscription was not cancelled in time, except where required by applicable law or where there is a demonstrable fault with the Service.
Purchases through Mobile App Stores
If You purchased a Subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play rather than through our website, this Refund Policy does not apply to that purchase. Those transactions are managed by Apple or Google, and any refund must be requested through the relevant app store in accordance with its own refund policies.
Exceptions and Your Statutory Rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits or excludes any mandatory rights You may have under the consumer protection laws of Your country of residence, including the South African Consumer Protection Act where applicable. If a statutory right entitles You to a refund that is more generous than this policy, that statutory right prevails.
Changes to this Refund Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. When We make material changes, We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. The policy in effect at the time of Your purchase applies to that purchase.
