How it works

Snap, identify, value, save

1. Snap a photo

Take a photo of the model — packaging or loose — in the app on your phone or in your browser.

2. AI identifies it

It reads the brand, casting, year, series and colour by matching your photo against live collector and marketplace data.

3. Estimate the value

Get an estimated market-value range so you know what the model is worth before you buy, sell or trade.

4. Auto-fill & save

The details drop into the add-car form. Review, tweak anything, and save it to your collection — you're always in control.

FAQ

Scanner questions

How does the AI scanner work?

Take or upload a photo of a diecast model and the AI reads the brand, casting, year, series and colour, estimates a market value, and fills those details into the add-car form. You review and edit anything before saving — nothing is posted automatically.

Is the scanner free?

Every collector gets a couple of free scans to try it. A subscription adds more scans each month, along with collection analytics and market trends.

How accurate is the AI identification?

It identifies most mainstream diecast models well by matching your photo against live collector and marketplace listings. Because results can vary with lighting and rare castings, every field stays editable and the value is an estimate, not a formal appraisal.

Which brands can it identify?

It works across diecast brands including Hot Wheels, Matchbox, Mini GT, Kaido House, GreenLight, Auto World, M2 Machines and Tomica — and many others.
